With the new Dior Beauty Institute

Since its opening in 1911, this historic luxury hotel, located in the prestigious Avenue Montaigne near the Champs-Élysées and the Seine, has preserved its glance and glamour. Today, it is still something special to reside here. The traditional luxury hotel, which belongs to the exclusive Dorchester Collection, offers its international public an ambiance of this highest sophistication and diverse luxury.

This year, regular guests of the Plaza Athénée can also look forward to two new features: the opening of the new Dior Beauty Institute and the “face-lifting“ of the Galeries des Gobelins. With the new Dior Institute in the Plaza Athénée, which opened its doors on the 16th of September, the luxury hotel has tremendously increased its beauty services. The wide spectrum, of facial- and body treatments for women and men is a source of excitement for all. Some of the treatments were even developed at the Plaza Athénée. Discerning wellness guests will find five treatment rooms, including a double VIP room, as well as a relaxation lounge.

Not new but with a new look and a “Fashion Parade” is the Galeries des Gobelin, which presents itself in the style of the nearby fashion houses. Fitting the sophisticated ambiance in this “Place to be“ is the new fashion food concept, which was designed by the renowned interior designer Pascale Benhamou. During the afternoon, Christophe Michalak, the world famous patissier indulges guests with his irresistible cuisine. The three other in-house restaurants also have much to offer, especially Alain Ducasse’s three Michelin Star-awarded restaurant, as well as the La Cour Jardin found in the green inside courtyard. One must also not forget the stylish bar, where guests can order their drinks per touch screen.

The hotel offers 146 rooms and junior suites as well as 45 suites in varying sizes – all of which are found on the hotel’s six floors. One can look out to the alleys of the Avenue Montaigne or in the charming La Cour Jardin with its lush greenery. Classic elegance in the style of Louis XV and the Regency period can be found in the majestic interior and two floors are dedicated to the art deco style. Of special magnitude is the royal suite with its 450 square metres and extravagant view of the Eiffel Tower.
